Iris lets you do more cool stuff with your iSight.

  • Detect unwelcome visitors, with Motion Detection, and Email Alerting
  • Broadcast your video over the web, with Iris's built in WebCam
  • Browse your snapshots and movies in Iris's built-in Gallery. Send them by email, upload them to Flickr, or export them to view on your iPod, Apple TV, or iPhone.

Requirements

Iris requires Mac OS X Tiger, and an iSight camera (built-in or external). Many other USB and FireWire cameras will also work with Iris.

Iris is a Universal Binary, and will run on PowerPC (G4 or G5) or Intel Macs. A Quartz Extreme capable video card is recommended.
